I was thinking last night about what impact an Atlas takeover would have on HNR. Post almagamation of AGO and WRK, HNR should have about 8.1M shares in AGO(including the lot due after 12 months). Any AGO takeover, which seems a ripe target in itself, would send HNR over the top. Minimum takeover price for AGO would be $3 IMHO, equating to a value to HNR of about $24.5M (current value is abut $13.5M) and $6M in cash, compares very favourably with market cap of $26.8M.
