I am making an educated guess from experience, what little I have albeit. Take RAP for example, 50 million performance shares (approx 8-9% of total shares) were dumped asap causing a retrace of about 20 odd cents from a high of 49 C. Many holders said UQ wouldnt be so shortsighted as to to sell, and they dumped the whole lot virtually. WRT to LPE these performance shares have undoubtedly served as an anchor to the downtrend after its highs. Its been inexorable. Theres another hundred odd million tranche in Dec. Got sucked in by the great story re the highs and I didnt do the due diligence and should have waited or sold at highs. So lets see where this goes. Happy to be wrong, and yes am holding and losing btw
