Some like to look at history to make any sense of this conflict. This is especially so given trying to understand how it even come about and what is motivating who is not transparent nor straight forward.

I think in this regard, too many, are anchored to too recent times like Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Yugoslavia. Some go back to like the Cuban missile crisis suggesting Russia is feeling threatened like USA from weaponry potentially very close to their sphere which is understandable.

Nevertheless, I see parallels before the first world war where forces did not appreciate what they where getting themselves into and where overconfident a rosy scenario for them will form through a few manoeuvres. A bit like Prince Harry just making chess pieces move in his own mind . Especially so since the First World War was one year after the creation of the federal reserve and this war is after Afghanistan but it also is after and during massive periods of credit expansion from the central banks including the federal reserve where a number of people operate as if they are in la la land with impunity like the wall street banks after the GFC event.

It looks like NATO was pushing east as if there would be no unintended consequences or any barriers created would not be formidable and could be thwarted like a different recognition of debt to suit the Wall street bank agenda and Global elite. Clearly the elite a pulling strings in this Ukraine war especially with the funding supplying arms to Ukraine
