You are correct , but we are talking about something different.
I am unaware of any capital returns by WAM over the past few years.
Or any payments which might have had an effect on the cost base.
My understanding is that they have all been fully franked dividends which bore little , or no relationship to that years profits.
Happy to be corrected if you know of any capital returns.
