I listened Chris interview in livewire and felt he was quite negative on whole LIC sector. I am not a retireee and here is my reason for holding:
I am holding for some time and added more through AYS deal recently at an average price of 1.96. That means 15.5 cent yearly dividend would give me a grosss yield of 15.5/196*1.43 = 11.3%pa + any capital growth (though I am not selling) is a bonus! Not sure I would consider that a bad investment..
