I haven't listened to the wire yet but I saw Chris' answers on buy hold sell blog post - I think he said sell for every single LIC.

But that said I kinda understand why - he's always been an index guy as you can tell from his own products.

I don't personally hold WAM but I've been following for many years.

I do hold a fairly large holding of WMI though.

Also find it annoying how performance is reported before expenses - would be nice if could do like for like against index options. I get Geoff's argument for why it isn't reported that way, since then you are comparing portfolio vs portfolio. But as Chris points out this isn't what we experience as an investor. If they at least reported post cost performance and even if it isn't compared to benchmark, we as investors could then at least do the comparison ourselves against whatever ETFs we wanted and at least that would be mostly like-for-like.
