As i said before, "It ain't over til the Fat Lady either falls out of the 'Magnolia Tree' into the swamp and gets eaten by Gators or 'The Bear' chokes on her raw obeseness or dies from food poisoning due to a lack of Gas to cook her with Or by some Miracle a Rabbit or three magically appears out from underneath the 'LNG Sorting Hat' to satisfy the hunger of said Bear plus those hungry Gators sitting under that tree waiting patiently for something to drop There are some positive signs around imo, (see below) whether it's just a case of weathering the storm 'Cyclone Rabbit' and 'Hurricane BTA' a bit longer and for how long after years of waiting, watching, hoping and praying for our turn or not is anyone's guess atm In the mean time i'm happy to wait and see what unfolds down the Train line before stepping off this Platform without a Train in sight for now, as my Ticket is still Valid for a few years yet, as i really want to be here to see if the 'Fat Lady sings' or is eaten alive for some strange reason

Bangladesh is reportedly expected to sign a 15-year deal this month with Qatar’s RasGas to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) starting in 2018.

The deal will be signed on September 25 in Qatar, Reuters reported on Wednesday citing Mohammad Quamruzzaman, managing director of the Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Co, a unit of state-owned oil firm Petrobangla, as saying.

Under the deal, RasGas will supply 1.8 million tonnes a year of LNG for the first five years and 2.5 million tonnes a year for the next 10 after that, the report said.

The deal is Bangladesh’s first LNG import agreement and will help to cover the country’s domestic natural gas shortfall.

Bangladesh’s two terminals, one being developed by Excelerate Energy and the other by Summit LNG to be located at Moheshkhali Island in the Bay of Bengal are set to be commissioned by April 2018 and the Summit terminal by October 2018, respectively.

Both FSRUs have a 3.75 million tons of LNG per year capacity.

Spain’s imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) rose 14.2 percent in June on a yearly basis, according to the data provided by the LNG terminal operator, Enagás.

Spain’s imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) rose 39.7 percent in July on a yearly basis, according to the data provided by the LNG terminal operator, Enagás.

LNG imports reached 15.6 terawatt hours (TWh) in July, as compared to 11.18 TWh in the same month the year before.

More than half of the LNG imports came from Qatar and Nigeria, followed by volumes from Peru, Norway, Egypt, the Netherlands, Algeria and the U.S., the data shows.

Spain’s imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) jumped in August on a yearly basis boosted by higher gas-to-power generation.

LNG imports reached 19.15 terawatt hours (TWh) in August, a rise of 156 percent as compared to 7.47 TWh in the same month the year before, according to the data provided by the LNG terminal operator, Enagás.

Almost half of the country’s LNG imports in August came from the world’s largest producer, Qatar. These imports rose ten times from last year to 9.05 TWh, the data shows.

The rest of the August volumes were imported from Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Norway, Peru, the U.S. and Algeria.

Enagás’ Barcelona regasification plant received 6 out of the total 19 LNG cargoes imported into Spain during the month under review.

The report shows that the Huelva LNG import terminal and the Bilbao facility received four cargoes, each, while three landed in Sagunto. The Cartagena and Mugardos LNG terminals received one cargo, each.

Enagás said earlier this month that Spanish gas demand rose 18 percent in August year-on year, reaching the highest monthly growth figure in the summer period since 2008.

Demand for natural gas for power generation ended the month of August with an increase of more than 60%, to reach 7.8 TWh, the highest figure for this month since 2011.

The increase was explained by low hydroelectricity generation and a lower contribution from wind power.

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Italy’s Eni on Wednesday signed a cooperation agreement that includes assessing opportunities in the gas and LNG value chain.

The duo also agreed to cooperate in oil & gas exploration and production, trading and logistics opportunities, refining and petrochemicals.

The partnership will regard both China and overseas activities.

The signing took place in Rome at Eni’s headquarters during a meeting between the Chairman of CNPC, Wang Yilin, and Eni’s Chief Executive, Claudio Descalzi.
