30 days and government departments and outside companies that lodge on behalf of others.

Govt departments often have suggested / average turnaround times but are rarely enforceable or held to them. With staff not avaliable , other resources not avalliable etc etc at any time they may not meet the suggested deadline.

I know many govt departments who may have a 30 day decision progess but they agenda items only on a certain day of the month and then after it is processed for 30 days then require it to be then rubberstamped by a meeting that only happens once a month. Think of it like building approvals in Australia where the development officers accept lodgements , get all info , objections, suggest a result and then it goes into teh cycle of council meetings to be finally discussed or just rubber stamped. So a 0 day approval with no queries can take 60 days depending on lodgement and meeting days.

BSI should / would know all those committee meeting and approval timings and proceses you would hope as they would be listed in a calendar

If you don't bother to learn their system you will never get the lodgement timing and response timing right.

If someone wants to do the legwork and look into it we may be able to resolve when BSI and subsequently TIS should get a reply.
I am constantly disappointed with the seeming unprofessionalism of putting specific dates in announcements by ASX companies and then on that date due thinking it inconsequental and insignificant that that date has passed. If it wasn't important it should not have been in the first announcement. To think we have company representatives cowering under a foil hat too scared to make a informal call and at the very least confirm it is in the process and no correspondence has gone missing defies belief. They won't get told anything out of the ordinary and a call won't get it put to the bottom of the pile.

As for the ASX and announcements they always check for sensationalist headlines and may skim content but they straight through a lot unless the company is under some sort of watch. Biotechs and small miners and technology stocks probably are all under a watch with teh way some announce things. Nothing wrong with providing info on their website. The classic with a one product company - is it significant news - hell yes. As much important as to delays as to actual approval. The answers you have recieved are teh usual palm off standard answers.
Thanks to those who have tried to find out a answer. Would be nice if teh ASX made it a rule that any shareholder enquiries that are answered must have that answer posted on their website for all shareholders to see and same for any pesentations including all speech notes. That would make sure it isn't only the squeaky wheels , insto's and mates who get any clarification.

Maybe they are trying to save us $200 for their legals to read it and approve it - a joke.
