It looks Credit Suisse just called in its margin loan on the Rubicon Trusts and sold the units on to somebody. I wonder if any deal was done concerning the line of credit. If I'd just bought 10% of REU I'd probably like to know that the funding for the CRE portfolio was not going to be pulled.
What would probably be ideal if Credit Suisse owns the units themselves. They'd then have a vested interest in leaving the loan there.
