Doing a bit more digging today and found that apparently Orthopedic surgeons in the US carry out about 32 surgeries per month1 and that there are about 25,500 Orthopedic surgeons in the US2. I wasn't able to find out, on average, how many Orthopedic surgeons there are in each hospital in the US. So no point in trying to do any kind of extrapolation/speculation re possible Xperience revenue in the second quarter based on the number of US hospitals NXS products are being used in (1,623 hospitals based on NXS 5 May 2021 presentation) and revenue of about USD120 (after production costs and sales commissions, again from NXS) if say 25 surgeons (about one tenth of one percent of all the Orthopedic Surgeons in the US) are on board in May and June.
Did find that the largest hospital for Orthopedic Surgeries "Hospital for Special Surgeries" has easily over 100 Orthopedic Sugeons (I stopped counting when I got to 100, they may have closer to 150-200). Mayo Clinic I think was the next largest and I think they had 9 Orthopedic Surgeons.
