fwiw as the recession takes hold next year i'm expecting delistings from the asx, mines closing, projects canceled, lower wages because workers will be desperate just to have a job, i expect 457 visa holders to leave the country, state budgets to have short falls, the federal budget to go into defecit, retirees who own ip's are in the process of offloading and will continue to do so. banks will only lend to people with proper deposits and solid employment with proven savings records.
