I still wonder how life arose on this planet in the first place.
For all of the right conditions to have existed, for so long, and for chemicals to somehow self assemble into more complex compounds, which then somehow managed to form into something that could self replicate, it all seems too fantastic for words.
Goodness knows what the true odds would be of this occuring anywhere. Infinitely small.
Even in an infinite universe, this solar system could be the only one that contains life.
