I was referring to Terang's post 21060377: "Silicon wafers up to 300mm is a game changer!!"
Does that look like he is talking about cREO? I realize very well that cREO is nowhere near 300mm. Even the supply chain of raw materials (rare earth elements) is a major headache, let alone the sizes of the wafers.
My point with Terang's post was that Si-wafers up to 300mm has been in use in the semiconductor industry since 2001. 450mm is next generation (2017-2020), and yes, there is some reluctance in the uptake on a large scale. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wafer_(electronics)
