Lets hope for all our sakes that ECT don't go under!! That would make a lot of people here with large holdings, very angry to say the least!
If ECT were to go "Under", heaven forbid(he says crossing himself) due to the weight of debt, then I agree with you the Coldry tech is far to valuable a technology to shelve! However the Sale of IP would do nothing for us! Been there before on another share that did exactly that!
However, my understanding of the debt situation is that it only has to pay GW for the $1.3M, which is covered by the Tax rebate. So I don't think they have a lot of debt, as they keep raising money via placements! I could be wrong, haven't checked the Annual report to that level.
On the positive side, management, I believe has been working hard, hopefully the fruits of their labour will be rewarded with a positive Funding announcements followed quickly by a positive DFT announcement and then shortly by a positive ALDP EOI announcement re Shortlisting..
Those 3 announcements, this year, should bring a nice SP for Christmas!
