As much as i'd love the sp appreciation an approach from a big miner would bring, there is no chance we get taken over by one of the big players. Our resource is way too small with its 350m NPV or thereabouts.
The big miners (BHP 221bn MC and RIO 167bn MC) need multi billion dollar npv projects to even move the needle a little bit. While TVNs 350m npv resource and 89m MC might provide a great ROI its just simply not big enough to be anything more than a rounding error for the big players. TVN has a lot of growing to do before takeover talks become a serious consideration
