DangerousClown, you are wrong!!! If you live in Adelaide you might now what brickies sand looks like. It is orange-brown gritty clayey sand. A kid could build a sandcastle with it. It is also of tertiary age,35ma, The same as the Beverley uranium deposit. To make ISL work the sand has to be very porous so that the solvent can travel through the material and dissolve the uranium. I would very surpised if the water content of the Beverley aquifer was not >20%.
