Could be...but even if they miss out this time around it doesn't matter, they should be added in September when their average MC for the last 6 months is a lot higher than the past 6 months. Those funds that are selling now will be buying hastily in the September addition...
Same thing happened when they narrowly missed out on the ASX300 addition a while back, funds were selling, then the sp surged a few months later when they had to buy back. All good.
