With hot weather there's nothing better than nourishing salads. So I've just finished making some salads for dinner that are easy to make and only take a few minutes. Now cooling off in the fridge.
All food used is organic or bio dynamic. Don't want to eat the guaranteed chemicals and pesticides in non organic food at home.
Mixed bean salad.
Include a variety - red kidney, lima (butter beans), green beans and chick peas. Add a little raw onion. Season with a little crushed garlic, Australian extra virgin cold pressed olive oil, a little freshly ground salt and pepper.
Delicious.
Green salad with a difference.
Again very simple and quick to make.
Combine mixed baby lettuce leaves, a lebanese cucumber finely sliced, a few large tasty tomatoes chopped into eight pieces each. Then add a few Australian grown olives and Australian grated cheddar.
Season with fresh lemon juice, a little crushed ginger for bite, Australian extra virgin cold pressed olive oil, and a little freshly ground salt and pepper.
Again. Delicious.
