    club, spot on, it is a great stress reliever....
    no drugs, pills or alcohol required
    I used to find it very difficult to part with my art...it felt like a part of myself.
    I have changed that attitude, as there are too many pieces now..

    There was a lady artist, she did it as a hobby, never sold a piece. They only found it after she died. She had basically recorded 60 years of Melbourne, beginning with the horse and cart, the introduction of the trams and trains. I think the National gallery and museums jumped on it. It was a beautiful historical record of the transformation of Melbourne from the 1920' to the 1980's.
    What a legacy she left.

    I have met several artists, who love painting, but cannot bear to part with their works.
    I have given away a lot of my art, to family and friends, and anyone who shows an interest.
