Hey SharesRfun, I have done the same, it is just what one does as an employer to help an employee, but I as apparently many here too have found, its a no win situation. I've had to become a little tougher which is not the way I like it, but it is either that or find myself doing everything and eating vegemite sandwiches on the run while my employees eat caviar. Unions are good, but lets also get something back occasionally! I just hope my employees appreciate the 3% payrise they will get over the next couple of years over and above CPI and the goodwill payrises.............
