My concern with waiting for Northrop to make up its mind is that the technology might become superseded.
Why not talk to commercial satellite operators or insurance companies that deal with space assets. Surely there must must enough civilian demand out there to require more detailed data on space debris and thus justify the rollout of additional sites. With additional sites out there, it will provide more incentive for the US govt to phase out its current outdated radar systems.
On the CROWS front, any idea when the 2006 US Defence Supplemental Bill will get passed?
