Really? That's supposed to be of relevance to desalination? I think that's drawing a long bow. (I don't think that desalination was what this verse was referring to, or that modern, or any, desalination is based on faith powered belly operation.)
In all sincerity, I'm somewhat impressed that you had the intellectual honesty to add the following verse (39), which made it clear that the 'water' was metaphorical. (I'm not sure about the parenthesis - did they have brackets in the New Testament (Aramaic or Greek)?
Solely quoting verses from scripture is an interesting style of discourse, but I think you're missing my point, which is that we should be able to have a more edifying exchange of ideas, and indeed more edifying thoughts, than those limited to quoting snippets of ancient texts. Still, you seem to find it satisfying and/or adequate, and happily we have freedom of speech, so if that's how you wish to post, so be it.
