    I have invested in "explorers" in the past and it can be scary as everyone knows. One of the reasons I originally invested in ESI is the clinical one project approach ...ie ESI had Coldry/Matmor and it was/is a true "game changer" of massive existing industries.

    What was needed to commercialise Coldry back when I first invested a few $ (2008) is almost identical to whats needed now.

    In 2008 - Coldry had ONLY the crucial tech ingredients ie waste heat/A1 water. In hindsight - yes we wrongly thought "a major" would back it "imminently". It did not. However there was then the GFC and then the sp 2009 rise in 3 weeks from 1.7c to 11.5c...based on the obscure Tincom HoA and the lousy $1m IP buy out. Radical sp movements based on minimal fundamentals!...shows what the sp can do when speculators really get hold of it. Imagine IF ESI get something solid...?

    In 2008 the scenario was:

    * ECT had No Management strength.

    * No Positive Media was given to lignite - ever.

    * Fed/State Govts had minimal interest in commercialising brown coal - probably because no techs were at a stage worth backing. Also - maybe the Govts back then didn't envisage a potential Pilbara type revenue stream was EVER possible.

    * ECT had no DFT

    * I could go on...

    However - Oh how things have changed.

    In 2013 - Coldry have not ONLY the crucial tech ingredients ie waste heat/A1 water.

    Going back to my "explorers" comment - fact is there are around 1000 ASX microcaps and the vast majority are explorers.

    analogy:

    * I see most "explorers" as 1 mth pregnant with high risk sextuplets on the way.

    multiple projects that are many years away from delivering sp wealth - P&D's excepted (serious investors usually wont enter an explorer unless exceptional SIR like results are found...or BFS is required)

    ...all projects are in the never never as they require drilling ...most are in a never ending rut of dealing with green/land owner issues. S/holders always struggle to invest with clarity due to the ongoing Funding/Green/Enviro ...uncertainty.

    Have you heard the term "miners mine shareholders"...?...Yes that is usually the way it is with explorers.

    Now ESI is an investment opportunity TOTALLY different to investing in ASX explorers.

    tick tock...

    * I see "tech coy - non explorer" ESI as 8.5 mth pregnant with an increasingly lower risk bouncing Coldry baby on the way!

    ECT Coldry has One Low Low Sov Risk project that is "imminent", that will potentially deliver massive short/long term sp wealth...no drilling needed...obvious exposure to the 13B tonne risk free Pilbara S7 (can any of us really imagine that - didnt ESI ASX ann refer to the consortium approach?)...no Greens LT stressing involved (imagine that too)...throw in the 1500 ++ p/stations lurking for Module Madness (and Matmor madness of course)

    Enter Monash as initial CSI and its Game On....yes yes I know we have heard it all before...BUT imo Enter private Monash (or others if you like even conditional) -> significant ALDP $ -> Final Investment Decision (FID)...Sept? -> instos -> sp goes truuuly banannas.

    Fact is many larger ESI holders have taken a massive calculated punt - wanting to avoid the "explorer"/Sov Risk cycle.

    Will the trust pay off - ....?

    tick tock..
