We know that consumption is tough in the short term. Even luxury, which was resisting quite well, is now under pressure globally.
Despite this trend, we have some positive surprises among consumer stocks : - as indicated before, health supplement companies are doing well (cf Biome and EZZ life science), - yesterday, Step One Clothing (bamboo underwear manufacturers) showed a strong growth of its revenues during FY 24 (with a good level of margin), - today, Dusk published an update which showed an improvement for H2 vs H1 (in terms of sales decrease) and probably a stabilisation of its free cash during H2 (given its cash position), while its sales are doing well in the last 2 weeks (maybe a very short term trend).
