Jackie obviously you don't know ASIC abd ASX rules....Bot and algorythmic trading are legal but they are not XT trades!

XT represents "cross trades" and regardless of how small, they are trades between the brokers clientelle. The broker if there is an enquiry has to qualify that he was doing it in both parties interest. I've discussed this many times with the ASX because it hasn't made sense to me in the past. If you watch carefully you will often see an XT or cross trade without effecting the number of buyers and sellers ie:the market depth....That's because the broker can indeed carry out buy and sell trades simultaneously and move in front of the private buyers queue.

I know it's perplexing, it often appears wrong, but if you don't follow what I've said contact the ASX
