Oz gold hopeful sees feasability study completed next month --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Australian miner Allied Gold said last week that significant sulphide gold results have been returned from the initial drillholes completed near the Pigiput sulphide gold project on Simberi Island at the commencement of the Phase 4 drilling programme.
Recent data aquired from IP surveys are very encouraging and numerous high priority drill targets have been identified between Pigiput and Sorowar.
A second multi-purpose rig is being sourced to accelerate sulphide drilling programmes.
Good progress has been made towards completing the Simberi oxide gold project optimised feasibility study (OFS).
The OFS is set up for completion once the results of final metallurgical and engineering studies have been received.
These studies are expected to be completed during September and subject to this timing being achieved, finalisation of the OFS is scheduled for early October.
