Loan your shares out to shorter, shorter successfully shorts and makes money and pays share owner. Shorter covers and goes long at some point and makes some more money. This isnt rocket science but impatient investors can lose money. Patient LT investors will make money if the company itself is well managed and eventually making good profits.
