1. Is it necessary for a company to seek shareholder approval to split or consolidate its share register?
2. Is a simple majority vote enough to get the consolidation through, or does the vote have to have a 70% majority at the AGM
3. Is each share entitled to one vote?
4. If the top 20 shareholders only account for less than 20% of the shares, then how does the company expect to pass this resolution, unless it has some extra-special news that will convince the majority to vote at the AGM in favour of consolidation.
