KG and mower I am in same boat with kids (but elderly father and mother - late developer's. Our 2 girls are 8 and 11. (only married once and def not contemplating second! - still married) We both work part time and share their care. Met in Derby WA 1994 so know Wa pretty well. After emigrating here from SA in 1989 - all upwards since then, that why I don't believe the younger people under 50 understand hard times (they are almost here). My dad was bankrupt twice and brought up me and my sister after my mom left when I was 4. So pretty frugal after my young life! Auzzie has been fantastic to myself and family - it is my country now.
