ps Sa is South Africa not South Australia. Gold fields of SA paid my engineering degree (electrical) my dad couldn't afford it (1974)so I know mining. Gold mines use OPM other peoples money and NEVER give back so great for PUNT not investment. Moved on to medicine in 80's so now a doc - paediatrician. Don't like gas guzzling cars and mac mansions hope I haven't offended anyone, also no aircon - it uses too much of poor peoples money and energy for our kids makes people fat and lazy. Also used to use brokers but after insider trading court case last year (acquitted) no longer have broker. My best share was BIOTA (twice)and good old North taken over by RIO in 1999 for their iron ore! Made most of my money on those 2.
