My personal experience of share market since 1986 is that if you get a blue chip in making, hang on to it. Trade partially if and when suits.
PDN, EXT, Wesfield shopping Centre, CBA, ASX are classical examples of never Sell a Bluechip in making. TLS is a sad saga.
First time I bought ASX, it was at $3.70 after float just 10 years back. I exited at 7 dollars feeling like a king. Today ASX trades at 38 dollars, went as high as 60 dollars. Dividend alone is more than 3 dollars alone. I feel sorry but that is life.
