Robert, TXN has been providing "test IP" (3-hour?) numbers for at least two years, not just the past few months. Here is one such announcement from August 2011:
"Texon announces that its third Eagle Ford well (Tyler Ranch EFS #2H) has tested oil and gas at the rates of 1,488 bopd and 700 mcfgpd ..."

I doubt these "test IPs" tried to inflate results because TXN also reported 30-day and longer average and total production, which were very respectable. Also, "24-hour IP" figures tend to be "peak 24 hours" not the first 24 hours of flow due to frac fluids flowing back differently across wells.

Robert, you said TXN told you their "test IP" rates are for three hours. Maybe true, but would be strange I think to calculate based on three hours unless a good sample for peak 24 hour rate. And which three hours? Unlikely the first three.
