I have been in the market since Jan 09 with no prior experience. By Sep 09, I was up 55% overall, approx $55K. Then down by $40K in May 10. Had worked my way back to roughly even at the start of Dec.
MEO has punished me no end in this time. Could have bought myself and the family some nice toys with the amount I dropped on it.
I agree with you about HC to a certain extent. At times, I believe it has helped me and at other times, by subcontracting my research to other posters, I have been burnt.
Never appreciated negative posters on a stock until recently. Let's face it, our life outside of HC would not be fulfilling if we were surrounded by yes men all the time. Same approach I now take to anything I read on HC. Positive or negative, all points of view are worth consideration.
I have no doubt I can work my way back from the disappointment of Artemis. Lots of people worse off than us and every day is a blessing.
