Afghan iron ore mine and India's NMDC are one of several bidders tomorrow!
I can see the potential for massive resources in this country including iron ore but seriously, the risk factor? What about infrastructure - $3 Billion ? The Taliban? US withdrawing? Civil war? Did I mention the Taliban? Why? For potential 2 billion tons?
I note also that Pakistan separates these two countries so how does the ore get to India via Pakistan rail corridor or via China?
Why consider that kind of risk when the same can be had in Australia with Legacy, without all the risk except for somewhat higher transport costs?
