Yea, that would probably even work if the Chairman was OK with it. However, I think if they want to keep their small cash buffer they will cut the dividend right down. For example, they could probably afford to pay a 1 cent dividend without dipping into cash (at all/ much, depending on cash-flow).
I think that would be a reasonable path to take.
