some salient points from the target statement

    Hi All

Thanks for all the intelligent posts - there are lots of clued up investors in JKA & TPT! I've taken the time to read through both statements so here's some salient points I'm considering.

The JKA statement says that all options for alternative funding have been explored, but doesn't say exactly what options and alternatives have been explored? Why not?

The statement says that the JKA BOD don't believe that an independent report on the value of the company or the offer is needed? IMO this is exactly what is needed. Mrposhmen, psi81, crows, timferris, kastin and others (sorry if I've left others out) have been trying to work out what JKA is worth from a distance, this doesn't seem fair to us all. An independent report would IMO have been helpful.

What is the rush with funding right now? Especially when the SP has taken the HM3 hit and has been at historical lows. HM3 ST2 may not even happen in 2014? Dragon, Cooper and JKA are all talking about doing ST2 in the second half of 2014 if a rig is available and subject to necessary approvals??? We all remember how long it took to get HM3 ST1 underway. Also do we need funding right now for Aje????

I like many others are scratching my head trying to understand this all.

Yes the SP might take another hit if the bid fails but IMO it could also head north on upcoming work in Somaliland and Tanzania and if new projects arise. The statement talks about having to find funding alternatives if the bid fails and this IMO is exactly what the board have done in the past and will do again.

    Regards,

    Chilloutman
