Thoroughly agree PickEm. Progression Free Survival (PFS) was the desired outcome of the doggie trial as stated by RA and RM.
Surely we must be interested in the long term outcomes for the dogs on compassionate maintenance.
The mechanism of action has been demonstrated by the trial but a regular follow ups on the participants would give us a glimpse into the future to observe real life applications of a commercial product.
Reports that the Vets who were involved are very keen to participate in the forthcoming trial is encouraging. Their own observations must have been taken into consideration by the board when it was decided to pursue the supplementary trial.
i just wish they could share their knowledge.
