Gees 1.5% or even 1% my have a reverse psychology effect.
Market may say hang on is things that bad?? Then panic even more!
I more envisage a .5-.75% cut
We got a lot of bad news coming out yet over the next 6 mths or so to come. For starters Merrill Lynch and Citicgroup have massive write down reports coming out Thursday night.
Merrill lynch write down could be any where between $10bil - $25bil.
Hopefully market has already factored in those losses! Maybe $15bil but certainly not $20bil+
