The international media sells the US story as a slowdown worthy of international panic, but the actual extent of the "slowdown" is clarified a little in this video.
US and Japan may remain slow (Japan is flat already), but other parts of Asia, mostly China/India, are still due to grow at 8% in 2008 (!!) AFTER the expected effects of problems in the US (ie: from what was earlier estimated to be 8.3% without the US issues)
