IMO the fed will wait until the end of the month and cut rates by 1.5% and promise more to come. The effect on the market will be like taking your foot off the brake and putting it flat too the floor on the accellerator! Next will come the gov's housing recovery package! No way will there be any recession in an election year. Markets will be at all time highs again by Dec 08.
