Good to see QBE closed flat on Friday and the selling has failed to push SP lower.
With rumours still going on from way 2008 re QBE take over by Allianz, the risk of going short on QBE can't be under estimated.
There is at the very least 1 % chance if not more of this happening at anytime and to go short at 10.34 and hoping to make 25 to 50 cents and to cover at 15 or 16 bucks with premium of 5 or 6 bucks ?? if Allianz makes a move ???
50% chance to make 50 cents and 1% chance of losing 6 bucks ???
That is what we call a blow out trade, that 1 % possibility will kill any trader.....and that is 1 % chance that I will never ever dare to take.
