I saw the same show this morning as well. It got me thinking - at the beginning of mankind wealth was pretty much equal for all, with only modest variations depending on one's strength, popularity or beauty. But over time there's been a slow, but very distinct, sucking sound of the world's wealth being diverted into the hands of the top 1%. From having almost total equality to what we have now - virtually nothing by comparison - is crime of the biggest magnitude.
But hey, they are very good at justifying their own stench - like more bailouts, subsidies and lower taxes. Too bad the world's now united in realising that we've been scammed all along.
