Coalboy, you have done well to hi-lite Ross Greenwood's excellent comments re. debt levels and payback.
It seems that our kids and theirs, and their kids and probably theirs also, will be paying off Labor's borrowings for a long time to come. What a fine legacy they stand to inherit thanks to these big spenders who haven't yet it appears, learned how to handle the finances of our country. Based on their work experience in private enterprise it comes as no real surprise.
( It would be very interesting to know if this is the way our Labor representatives handle their own personal finances ) ??? I suspect not!!

Perhaps it's because much of the media has a pretty strong slant to the left so such stories as Greenwood's don't serve their particular interests/agendas. Surely this couldn't happen in our country....or could it ???
Sadly today, we seem to have a group of high profile journalists who wear their political allegiance like a badge of honour....instead of objectively reporting the facts as they happen , we are served up their subjective and manufactured thoughts which at the very least, misinform their readers/listeners/viewers. Talk about mind manipulation...this is big brother stuff and it smells very badly. The over-rated Canberra press gallery fit this profile nicely.
Seems to me that there would be a number of excellent reasons to have the Canberra press gallery rotated on an annual basis to ensure that journalists don't become too close and comfortable with politicians who then simply use them as a conduit to support their programs. How long have we seen this happening ?
Give us OBJECTIVE reporting to inform us, not SUBJECTIVE interpretations designed to misinform the audience.
