I agree with your observations. Short term it will be important to break through the 30c resistance. When this resistance becomes future support, things will look quite good. In the current environment, with POG raising and IGR ticking off all the boxes, as well with the asseys due, we may not have to wait long. If POG breaks above US$1000, completing a head and shoulders (or cup and handle as others may be inclined to interpret it), we will be off (me hopes ;-)). I think the last quarter of this year will be good for gold and goldies. October reporting period is coming and it may be an interesting time.
