Gweston, i think you are on the money. I share your views.

QBen, i understand your frustration, but your post leans more to the emotional. $10m isnt a drop in the ocean to Sentient. If they didnt think the numbers stacked up, they wouldnt have put the money up. They would take their investment decisions as serious as anyone. To suggest that the money is a drop in the ocean to them and they are prepared to throw it away for a reason not articulated just doesnt hold up to rational analysis.

Much of your post is based on speculation on what is happening. The reality is however that we have pretty much seen most of the numbers in the engineering and procurement report by NFS. The DFS is largely telling us much of what know in a structured and detailed format.

A recent research report referred to on this site and readily available crunched the MMC value based on $3 lb. most long term forcasts are bullish on copper (compared to other minerals) and the long term price forecasts averages about $3lb. Some say $4lb, but this may be too bullish. The reality is that copper could fall 20% or more and MMC would still be viable.

We know they have taken their time getting the DFS, which is not uncommon with these stocks. Once they get it out, that is the blueprint. It is important to get it right and multiple consultancies are involved in the process.

Rather than focus on the delay or fret over what might happen, lets focus on what we know. Sure, the DFS is late, but all the other news has been positive.

I dont post this to make you feel bad or stir you up. I just think its easy to start seeing things that arent there when we are nervous.
