Well the timing of the raising (last week in March) is interesting
The March Qtr 4c (due in April) will prove whether Management is making real progress or all their updates are just talk.
You would think they would not want to annoy their rich, or not so rich mates, and issue shares to them and then have the share price tank below the cap raising if the 4c is poor.
By the last week in March, Management would know the outcome of the trading for the 4c update.
Objectively, if they thought the market was going to react badly to the 4c/update and the share price would fall further, they would hold off the cap raising until they (and their supporting brokers Shaws)felt that the share price was not going to go any lower. So they could get their mates in at the lowest possible level.
I find generally in these situations, the cap raising level generally signals the low point, or very close to it....there are always exceptions however....
