    PA - i've been trying to come up with an excel worksheet to keep track of the share being shorted. do you have such a sheet ?

    BTW: your statement is a bit presumptuous, i watch ABB a few wks back, it was heavily shorted (>30%) but the stock went up the next day. traders often make bet whether the news is bad or good, well they can analyze the info and make the bet base on that info, they can get it right/wrong.
