To put the Aussies in the picture, the Todd family is the NZ equivalent of the Packers/Murdochs, only more low key and back room investors. They have always had a very strong involvement in the energy sector in NZ and are very big investors all round. To see them involved in Cue is a truly massive plus, I am happy to go anywhere they are investing.
Also they did not get involved in any of the tech/internet/telco rubbish and did not invest in companies run by men with girlie names (Jodee?) and get goosed for hundreds of millions, they are too shrewd for that.
I think this is cracking investment and have actively encouraged friends and family to enter.
