A carbon levy or tax following the Green proposal would be a huge boost for mCHP systems such as CFCL's.

It would provide a big incentive for utilities to shut down the dirtiest power generation systems and to switch to the least carbon-intensive ones. Systems such as Bluegen would become much more attractive.

The advantage of a uniform carbon tax is that it stops the government having to "pick winners" - I think the advantages of mCHP would be clear in this situation.
