There is a common thread on climate.
Everyone agrees: someone else should take action.
From the lefty teachers and students marching; people organising opinion surveys to coal and gas protesters; they all want someone else to act.
The marchers refreshed at fast food outlets before taking buses and public transport home (nothing wrong here but at odds with the save the planet theme - by others acting).
The placards read: "ScoMo is doing little on Climate Change"; "Save our planet"; "Stop Adani", "Save the reef" - the list as you know is endless.
Nowhere is the sign "I walk rather than take the train/tram" "I switched off heat/cool" "Sold the car"; or any indication that people protesting were in even the slightest way willing to act to reduce footprint by growing food, using less or any other reduction of comfort.
They only produce hot air exhorting generic 'politicians' or others to "do something".
